Students Together Are Reaching Success

(S. T. A. R. S)

First-year students interested in the holistic support services that O.M.S.A.  provides can participate in this exciting program. Students voluntarily sign up for this program and are paired with S.T.A.R.S. peer mentors who can assist with their transition into the DePaul community during their first year. Students are offered various services that perpetuate their academic, cultural, transitional and leadership development. These students also can give back to the community later on in their academic careers by serving as peer mentors to future DePaul students.

Providing Access Through Holistic Support

(P. A. T. H. S)

As an offspring of S.T.A.R.S the P.A.T.H.S. program is an exciting new initiative designed to help students of color and first-generation college students build a strong sense of self that leads them toward successful career placement or graduate school matriculation. Completion of a “P.A.T.H.S Passport Certificate” takes students through a structured roadmap that helps them to focus on either career placement or graduate school transition by the start of their junior year.
