Peggy Burke, Ph.D.
Associate Vice President of Student Development

Biography

Peggy Burke is the Associate Vice President of Student Development.  Previous to this position, Peggy has served as Director of Student Life, Director of Special Services, Acting Director of Campus Ministry, International Student Advisor and Advisor to Students with Disabilities.  

She has worked at DePaul University since 1984.  She holds a Ph.D. from Loyola University in Higher Education Administration and her dissertation is entitled, “Women’s Ways of Knowing, Women’s Ways of Leading:” Leadership Development in Women College Students.  She also holds a Master’s Degree in History from DePaul University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Secondary Education from DePaul University.  

She is actively involved in NASPA, having served on the regional advisory board, the regional conference committee and as a national conference volunteer.
