Students with Disabilities

Who We Are:

Students with disabilities can participate fully in programs and activities at DePaul using services provided by the Office of Students with Disabilities (OSD). The office provides readers, adaptive computer equipment, books on tape, sign language interpreters and other adaptive equipment. Staff members work with departments and faculty to ensure that students have campus-wide access to buildings and information. Staff members also work individually with students to help them independently manage their lives both at and away from the university.

What We Do:

The Office of Students with Disabilities (OSD) is available to provide services to any DePaul student who is currently enrolled at the University and meets the federal definition of a qualified individual with a disability.

Prior to receiving services, students must complete a needs assessment form, provide documentation and be interviewed by the OSD staff. All student information is kept confidential.
